On 21.12.2020 a complain of Rape & Attempt to murder of a women aged 28 years by the accused Kamal Roy was lodged at Cooch Behar Sadar Women PS. Then Lady Asst. Sub-Inspector SUNITY DAS started the investigation and on 24.03.2021 she successfully submitted the chargesheet regarding the  SADAR WOMEN PS case no.116/2020. On 21.08.2024 finally LD. Additional Session Judge, Cooch Behar sentenced the accused to 10 years 6 months rigorous punishment with fine of 50500 rupees.
